Thanks to the donations of her followers, Nanna was able to buy back everything. To celebrate this movement of solidarity and the possibility of resuming work in the workshop, she sewed some nuts on the collar of her jacket and wrote the phrase “Here dreams come true” above the drawing of the broken wrench.

Nanna drew a broken wrench on the breast pocket of our denim jacket. In fact, during the lockdown, someone broke into her workshop and stole all her tools, except for a wrench that had broken a few days earlier and that she now always carries with her.

Five years have passed and today the social channels in which "Nanna" tells how to restore vintage cars have more than forty thousand followers. If you are looking for her, you can almost certainly find her in the workshop, the corner of paradise where she devotes herself daily to her most authentic and greatest passion, in spite of gender stereotypes.

When she was 19, Giovanna fell madly in love with a vintage car. Her parents branded that desire as a teenage whim, convinced that it would all end there.

Giovanna, however, was young and stubborn. With the little savings she had aside, she bought a Fiat 500 completely pitted with rust, which did not start or brake, and she began to restore it herself. Day after day, she refurbished it completely.
